E5 DE5IGN was founded in 2009 as an interactive design company. E5 stands for the five elements of interaction that our company focuses on: entertainment, education, esthetics (yes, spelled with an ‘e’), emotions, and escapism. We are developing new and exciting ways to interact with our audience through the 5 senses.

Shanghai Nightmare 2009 was our first large scale project, bringing a new genre of entertainment into Mainland China. Seeing that Halloween is picking up in recognition year after year in Shanghai, we want to set the standard and create the FIRST and BEST Halloween Haunted House in Mainland China! 2009 was a great success, proving to us that China is a viable market for this new form of entertainment.

Our members come from all backgrounds including art, design, engineering, fashion, marketing, acting, and more. We hope to provide a unique platform for people to experience a new form of entertainment: THRILLTAINMENT.
